After fourteen years with the IRS, Dennis left the IRS to join a local public accounting firm in Fresno where he became a shareholder. In 1993 he opened his own accounting office that has grown and is now known as Bean Hunt Harris & Company. Throughout his career, Dennis has focused on serving clients with Taxation, Bankruptcy and Insolvency issues. Dennis' professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), American Bankruptcy Institute, and National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Civic organizations include the Fresno Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau of Central California. In 1994 Dennis became a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy at an induction ceremony held at the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington D.C. and in 1995 he earned his designation as a Certified Insolvency Reorganization Advisor (CIRA). He has served as a former board member and officer of the Central California Bankruptcy Association and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA). He has also been a frequent speaker at various legal and professional educational programs throughout the country. On the weekends Dennis can be found spending time with his wife, Andrea and family and friends. Tom spent seven years in the audit departments of two national accounting firms and was a partner in a local Fresno accounting firm before forming his own practice. His practice emphasis is in the areas of audit and accounting and forensic and valuation services. Tom has provided forensic and valuation services for businesses and their owners for tax purposes, litigation, marital dissolution, purchase and sales transactions, and bankruptcy. Throughout his career, Tom has served clients in a variety of industries including agriculture, healthcare, construction, wholesale, manufacturing, services and employee benefit plans. Tom holds current professional memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). Through the AICPA, he has earned and maintains the special designations of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). He has served as a former qualifications committee member for the California State Board of Accountancy and is a former steering committee member of CalCPA’s Litigation Sections. Tom is a horse show enthusiast showing his quarter horses on the AQHA show circuit and is an avid fan of the Red Sox baseball team. He has earned the designation of Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) as awarded by the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. He has also earned the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) as awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to his extensive accounting experience, David has also served as an expert witness testifying in numerous trials. He is an active member of the community, and over the years has held leadership roles in the Fansler Foundation, Fresno Estate Planning Council, Fresno Greater San Joaquin Valley Junior Golf Foundation, and the Fort Washington Golf and Country Club. David holds many professional memberships, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), Fresno Estate Planning Council, and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS). In his personal life, David has been married for 42 years, and has two sons and two grandsons. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, camping, salmon fishing, and reading books on many different topics. David has traveled extensively during his life. He has driven across the United States twice, lived in Texas, Japan, California and Maryland. His travels include trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, England, France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia.
